I’ve been sampling Origins’ A Perfect World SPF 40 Age-Defense Moisturizer with White Tea – and its lusciously creamy consistency is proving a big hit.
It’s so thick it has almost got the consistency of clotted cream but with a little gentle massage this oil-free, antioxidant-rich moisturiser sinks into skin beautifully.
I’ve been using it on my neck too and it is wonderfully hydrating, smoothing out fine lines. You really can see the difference in how hydrated and supple skin is after applying.
I also like the fact that it has such a high SPF as the neck is an area that gets forgotten about. According to the blurb, it surrounds skin in a protective bubble to help ward off free radical damage and prevent premature signs of ageing… Well, I’m all for that.
It smells delicious too – white tea, edelweiss and white birch are all in the mix, as well as a very subtle (not unpleasant) smell of sunscreen. While I probably wouldn’t use this every day on my face – in the UK we don’t get enough sun! – I will definitely use it on my neck.
The 50ml pot costs £35. www.origins.co.uk
